Ron is a sapphire miner from the Central Queensland gem Fields. He started under ground sapphire mining in 1979 with his wife and two children.
Starting from humble beginnings as a thing to do and he is now full time mining cutting and jewellery manufacturing
Ron belongs to the gemmological association of Queensland, the Brisbane branch where he studied gemmology.
After obtaining his diploma in gemmology he went on to study Diamond grading and completed a course in Jewellery and gemstone Valuation. Ron is now a registered Jewellery Valuer with the Nation council of Jewellery Valuers, Queensland.

The 300 x 300 has a good 6 x 6 meter galvanized shed with all mod cons including kitchen and bed room.
