Throw in illicit affairs, shonky business deals and an eccentric director and you'll be 'begging' for more.
Directed by Ann Lennon-George.

They call his music "Mysticssippi" and even Bruce Springsteen is a fan - unique Canadian bluesman Harry Manx returns for a long-awaited Australia-wide tour, bringing with him his stunning new "Bread and Buddha" album to follow the success of his "Live at The Basement" DVD of 2004 and his acclaimed "Mantras for Madmen" studio album of 2006. Harry's been dubbed an "essential link" between the music of East and West. Having lived in Europe, Japan, India and Brazil, it was his five-year tutelage with renowned Rajasthani musician Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (Grammy winner with Ry Cooder for "A Meeting by the River") that forged his now signature east-meets-west style of music, infusing traditional American earthy 12-bar blues with a subtle hint of mystic Indian sounds. Playing lap-slide guitar, harmonica, cigar-box guitar, banjo, stomp box and the 20-stringed Mohan Veena, Harry envelopes his audience into "The Harry Zone" with his warm vocals and haunting original songs, plus his quirky reworks of some classic blues. His ten albums in as many years have resulted in multiple Juno and Maple Awards, including “Best Roots and Traditional Album (2003)" Harry has received four Maple Blues Awards and most recently he was the recipient of The Great Canadian Blues Award (2007) from CBC National Radio. His 2007 collaboration album with famed Canadian guitarist Kevin Breit (Norah Jones Band) saw them nominated for Best Roots Recording (Duo) at The Western Canada Music Awards. "For sheer musical adventure, few compare with Manx"...Bruce Elder, Sydney Morning Herald. "I've discovered something new tonight, seeing Harry play"...Bruce Springsteen. 2005.

Looking for a mini golf , putt putt course, minature golf? Craig Bartlett’s Putt & Play business models are a complete system for financing, installing, and running a mini golf operation. The system is designed to work in a new location or within an already established business, fitting like a glove into existing infrastructure to create substantial reductions on investment costs, and to improve business at the existing establishment. The Mini Golf systems can be placed anywhere in the world.
The proposition provides tempting economics for investors and has the ability to revitalise a stale business with existing land and infrastructure. The concept has been proven on three large scale, world-class mini golf courses. Two are located in Tasmania and one in Brisbane. The first course has been operating for 4 years now and is located at Grindelwald Resort in Launceston Tasmania. The second is at Barilla Holiday Park, Hobart. This course has its 1st birthday this Easter Holidays 2007. The 3rd course was opened December 2006 at Victoria Park Golf Complex, in the centre of Brisbane, Hurston Rd, Hurston. In all three cases, the mini golf system revolutionised the existing business, turned around their property, and brought substantial gains to the host business and investors alike.
In addition to our 18 Hole Mini Golf Business Models we also have a new concept called Putt & Play Putting Ranges.
An 18 hole course takes up an area of between 2,000 and 3,500 square meters of land area. Putting Ranges can be supplied in modules from 20m2 up to an 18 hole putting range taking up a space of 1,000m2.
Interested? - The following paragraphs document the process to get from where you are now, to the running of a successful Putt & Play business model.
Stage 1: Analysis - Craig is sponsored to come and conduct an analysis of the proposed site and examine the needs of the particular situation. Feasilibility studies are conducted quickly with course design sketches and preliminary costings. The go ahead is then given to progress to the next stage.
Stage 2: Planning and Preperation
Craig designs and costs the course, and then legal agreements are supplies for both the host, investor and Putt & Play. There are 10 shares in a company trust that the Host (location owner) has the first option for one or more shares. The rest of the shares if any are taken up by Barilla Putt & Play and suitable investors agreed upon.
Stage 3: Construction - Craig Bartlett constructs course for the agreed cost which is financed by the investors.
Stage 4: Open to Public
The course is opened. The host company runs the course, Craig manages the marketing and the project begins generating a profit, for distribution to the host, the franchisor and the investors according to the legal agreement.

String Quartet. Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827). String Quartet No 11 in F minor, Op 95 'Quartetto serioso' I Allegro con brio II Allegretto ma non troppo III Allegro assai ma serioso - Piu allegro IV Larghetto espressivo - Allegro agitato - Allegro. The Quartet comes from 1810, in the latter part of Beethoven's 'middle period', from where the majority of his most popular works derive. With a style at once taut and often violent, it was composed at the same time as his 'Egmont' music. The mood of the quartet, highly intense and disturbed, derives from the aftermath of Beethoven's failed love for Therese Malfatti. In spite of this, a sense of victory permeates final "allegro" of the last movement. Antonin Dvorak (1841-1904). String Quartet No 12 in F major Op 96 'American' B179. I Allegro ma non troppo II Lento III Molto vivace IV Finale. Vivace, ma non troppo. Throughout his adult life, Dvorak had a fascination for the indigenous music of this own country. It was logical therefore that he should absorb some of the musical culture of the "Red Indian" and "African" races that he encountered during his period in America from 1892 until 1895. His String Quartet No 12 indeed contains elements derived from those influences, especially rhythmically, and some touches ultilising pentatonic minor scales. However, the overall style remains firmly "Slavonic".
With its wonderful lyricism and exciting rhythms, it deservedly remains one of the composer's most popular and attractive scores. The quartet received its premiere in Boston on 4th January 1894.
